Position Summary
Jet Aviation’s Manufacturing Planning Department is the regulatory and mandatory entry point from Design Organization to both Production Organization and Installation/Maintenance Organization, equivalent to an industrial method office in the industry.
As Manufacturing Planner, you are responsible for receiving, registering, analyzing the feasibility, and technically checking the Engineering drawings or definition packages. You create and release work packages to Production and Installation. Furthermore, you are in charge of issuing material requirements as well as preparing traceability documents for the conformity Design Organization and being executed.
The team is working in a dynamic and large landscape environment – using PLM Platform Team Center, SharePoint, Internal solution – Excel , Access – and ERP System SAP.
Main Responsibilities
Transform Engineering Bill of material - drawings into a manufacturing bill of material (Material Quantification, Material Alignment with stock and ordering capabilities, make buy decision on Parts)
Create and update production routings - work packages - based on the engineering Data
Create and update installation job cards - work packages – based on engineering data
Launch, monitor and coordinate material and orders (production and installation within SAP) in line with project master schedule and Shops’ capacities and capabilities
Collaborate with Engineering Department, Supply Chain Management, Production to ensure the execution of the orders.
Ensure and communicate in timely manner risks and opportunities on the project execution.
Coordinate the implementation of engineering design changes during manufacturing and installation phase to ensure the most seamless effect in the downstream phases
Analyze, create, and improve department practices, processes, and tools.
Minimum Requirements
Technical Certificate or bachelor’s degree in a related field - Production / Manufacturing
General knowledge of the Aviation Regulations
Knowledge in PDM - PLM System and 3D CAD (Smarteam - Catia V5 ; Teamcenter - NX ; AutoCAD and AutoCAD Electrical)
Knowledge in SAP (industrial planning modules MM, PP) will be a plus
Proficient user of MS Office Suite – Office 365 solution will be a plus [SharePoint, Power BI, MS Forms, Excel, Power Automate]
Programming VBA Script will be a plus
